this instrument is designed for easy to use and conveinent to carry in the field work.dissolved oxygen refers to the concentration of oxygen dissolved in the water.it is usually denoted "DO" and indicated the number of milligrams per liter contains oxygen in the water.

Application:

it can be widely used in aquiculture,sewage treatment,environment protect department,thermal power plant,chemical fertilizer plant,metallurgy,pharmacy,biochemitry,food and flowing water inspect department.the concentration of dissolved oxygen is related to the pressure,water temperature and salinity . it will be decreased oxygen solubility when pressure,water temperature ,salinity are higher. especially,the degree of water contamination will ultimate affect the concentration of oxygen,some pollutants(such as :H2S,NO2-,NH4+,etc) are also mutual restraint its concentration.

According to mesured on cleaner rivers and lakes,dissolved oxygen is usually more than 7.5mg/L.when the value is less than 5 mg/L,all kinds of plankton can not survive.while the majority of fish require dissolved oxygen above 4mg/L.water body will stink if below 2mg/L.these data are assessed the basis of surface water,industrial ,agricultural,fishery water.
