Brief

Jingcheng wireless remote transmision water meter and the AMR(automatic meter reading) system were designed for the Water Supply Department,which is new accounting management system..This system automaticaly send the water consuption record and meter information to the mangement center for summary and deal through wireless ,which is duplex communication mode.This system also automatically send the inspection,selective examination and controller instructions to water meter,which can make it automatic and intelligent of managenent of water accounting system .

System components

The system consists from 4 levels components : water meter,zone collector,GPRS concentrator and master point(management center).

The level of meters:digital transmission water meter ,digital transmission water meter with valve controller etc..

The zone collector is used to collect water meter infomration in this zone,which is the communication bridge between water meters and the concentrator.The collector reads water meter,forwards data ,sends controlling and send other instructions.

GPRS main concentraotr communicate and manage water meters in certain zones through collectors which link to it,as well as uplinks to master point via GPRS pulic wireless network.

As the management center,the master point monitors the ruuning situation of the water meter under the centain zones,sends timing or real-time reading instrutions to water meter,it also collectors,summarizes and analysis running data,so it can promptly and accurately realizes the object.

The wireless handheld device(PDA) which can directly reads and controls water meters is the bankup and addition for the AMR system.

This PDA can directly communicates with water meter in duplex way,as well as sets up duplex communication ,realizes parameter setting,reads data and sends controlling instruction ,etc.
