Working principle and structure
The working principle of the shunting spinner flowmeter is as shown in the figure.When the fluid flows through the main pipe“1”and the main orifice plate“2”,at the same time flows into the shunting pipe“5,”spinner flowmeter“4”,restriction orifice plate“3”,and then flows back to the main pipe.The cumulative flow Q flowing in the main pipe is directly proportional to the flow q in the shunting pipe.The total flow can be measured by measuring the shunting flow.
