Y813-II Fabric Absorbency Tester is used to simulate the procedure of washcloth’s absorbing water from the surface of skin, dishes and furniture in the actual life to determine the ability of a terry fabric (washcloth, facecloth, hoods, Turkish towels, etc.) to rapidly absorb and retain liquid water from surfaces. It is not applicable to non-terry fabrics such as huck towels, waffle-weave towels, crash towels, flour-sack towels and non-woven wipes and decorative terry fabrics that will not be used to absorb water from surfaces.
