Specifications and Product Details:

VRWKRD 91 Pulse High Frequency 26 GHZ Radar Level transmitter:

Brief introduction:

VRWKRD90 Series are high – frequency 26GHz radar level transmitters with analog signal output 4 – 20mA, max measuring range up to 70m. The antenna design has been further optimized, and the latest microprocessor enables rapid signal analysis and process. VRWKRD90 Series are especially suitable for those applications with more complex measuring conditions such as measurement in reaction kettles or bunkers.

Advantages:

Non-contact measurement
Simple mounting
Wear and maintenance-free
Unaffected by pressure, temperature, gas and vapour
High measuring accuracy
SIL qualified

Function:

Extremely short microwave pulses are emitted via the antenna system to the measured product, reflected by the product surface and received again by the antenna system. The time from emission to reception of the signals is proportional to the level. A special evaluation procedure ensures a reliable and precise measurement.

Working principle:

The high frequency microprocessor emits narrower micro pulses which travel via antenna and arrive at the fluid’s surface. The pulses are reflected back to the antenna and received by it. Then, they are transmitted to the electrical part where they are automatically turned into signals. (The “round trip” time of flight is almost instantaneous due to the very high speed of the microwaves.)
