VRLC3144LD Intelligent Displacer Liquid Level Transmitter
Based on the Archimedes’s principle VRLC3144LD Intelligent Displacer Liquid Level Transmitter series is designed for measurement of liquid level, interface and density. Featured by high measuring stability, it is especially suitable for level (interface) measurement of a liquid under field conditions of small measuring range, high temperature and high pressure, and low density. With HART protocol, it can be configured and monitored remotely by a PC or a hand – hold terminator and also can be operated by a regular built – in keypads.
Structure principle
VRLC3144LD Intelligent Displacer Liquid Level Transmitter is mainly composed of a buoyancy chamber, displacer, a torque tube and an electric measurement unit. Displacer buoyancy is transmitted by the displacer and torque tube to the working rod connected to a sensor, and then acts on a free end of the sensor. The four strain – measuring elements with meal film are splashed to the sensor, where the resistance value varies with a pulling force and a pressure force. They form a Wheatstone bridge powered by an electric amplifier, by which a diagonal bridge voltage that is proportional to the actual weight, as an input signal, is converted to wire signal output 4 – 20mA.
