Applications

1, On-site measurement of the cooling characteristics of a quenchant , directly in the quench tank, so as to:

1) Test the cooling performance at various positions in the quench tank;

2) Check the effect of the rate of flow on cooling performance

3) Follow changes in the cooling performance of a quenchant-as a result, for example, of degradation or impurity over a period of time

Mode of operation

A probe containing a thermocouple is heated to the required temperature, normally 850°C, and immersed in the quenchant.

The temperature change is registered on computerized equipment and stored in memory.

All operational process are controlled by CPU system with its touch screen.
