Purpose

UGS colored quartz glass level indicator (hereinafter referred to as level indicator) is a product developed by our company with the latest high technology at home and abroad, which is updated from the common glass plate level indicator. It is broadly applied to the various transparent liquid containers and boilers of the petroleum, chemical, power and metallurgical industries, for level measurement of oils and chemical raw materials such as water, gasoline, liquefied gas, liquid ammonia, alanine, propane, propylene, aromatic hydrocarbon and acid, etc, as well as interface measurement of two mediums with different density.

Colored quartz glass tube level indicator has successfully resolved the problems of common glass plate level indicator such as heavy weight, large sealing area, easy leakage, unclear display, and difficulty to judge the level at very close distance. It is the most ideal direct reading level indicator at home and abroad now.

Structure principle

UGS-I colored quartz glass tube level indicator is a kind of direct reading measuring instrument, which forms circuit with container through flange and takes advantage of refraction principle of special shape glass tube and light to realize level indication of green liquid and red gas.

Taking float ball as the measurement element and buoy configured according to the medium density, UGS-II colored quartz glass tube level indicator with side-mounted buoy makes the colored buoy float on the level interface, to clearly indicate the level or interface location.

Steel balls are placed in the valves at both ends of the instrument, which plays the part of automatic sealing when the glass tube is damaged accidentally.

connection flange standard: JB/T82.1-94 DN20 PN 1.6 2.5MPa, JB/T82.2-94 DN20 PN4.0-10.0MPa. The pressure of male flange or HGJ51-91 male flange with DN20 follows the corresponding class.

Other flange standards such as HGJ, GB, ANSI, shall be marked by the design department or the user.
