1 Gauge glasses are firmly held by their front and rear covers.The gauge is constructed so that
tightening forces are not applied directly to the gauge glasses and the reduced load in even
high-temperature, high-pressure conditions minimizes the risk of gauge glass breakage.
2 In addition, special graphite gaskets are used for sealing to more effectively prevent gauge
glass breakage and leakage.
3 Like low-pressure gauges, the TVD-HL also features an anti-corrosion mica plate installed on the
inside surface of each gauge glass to protect it against corrosion due to steam or water.
4 If longer viewing areas are required, the TVD-HL can easiliy meet such requirements by
connecting several units in a stsggered configuration.
5 LED lightning recommended for ship applications.
