Meters are intended for metering of active energy, consumed in 0.4 kV single-phase alternating current networks with frequency of 50/60 Hz and are used for work with end-consumers, carrying out individual accounts with Energy Supply Company.
Meters have advanced facilities and allow:
CONSUMER:
- To control electrical energy consumption with taking into account a developed tariff structure from season tariffs to repeatedly changed during 24-hours period.
- To keep up the state of accounts with Energy Supply Company. At that, Meters can support both prepayment and credit operation modes. At operating in prepayment mode installation in meter of special cards is not required all the necessary information about payment for energy meter receives via communication channels.
- To get information about emergency situations in network.
ENERGY SUPPLY COMPANY:
- To accumulate consumption data with use of remote access to meters via communication channels.
- To control and to synchronize meters operations. To carry out monitoring over state of consumption network and data transmission network.
To carry out an efficient policy of consumption managing reasoning from keeping by consumers of terms and conditions of an agreement.
Meters meet the requirements of the following international standards:
- IEC 61010-1:2001-02 Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use. Part 1. General requirements
- IEC 62052-11:2003 Electricity metering equipment (AC) - General requirements, tests and test conditions - Part 11: Metering equipment
- IEC 62053-22:2003 Electricity metering equipment (a.c.) - Particular Requirements - Part 22: Static meters for active energy (classes 0,2 S and 0,5 S)
Basic Functional Characteristics
- Measure the active power.
- Register consumed energy.
- Count out time and calendar date.
- Put consumption data in three tariff registers.
- Apply the special penalty tariff when consumer breaks the terms and conditions of agreement.
- Calculate consumer balance warning him about necessity to settle a bill of Energy Supply Company.
- Define differential current presence.
- Switch off consumer from network at specified conditions and switch him to network after elimination of switching-off reason.
- Carry out data exchange with service center by means of built-in PL-modem.
- Display at LCD consumer and service data.
- Allow possibility of all their functions setting. Setting is carried out from service center via communication channels.
- Are equipped with communication interface, which have function of impulse output. Interface is also used for independent information exchange with meter during voltage absence in network.
Meters accumulate, save and transmit to Center information about:
- alarm situations in network;
- their own alarm states;
- consumers actions, which can lead to breach of contract with Energy Supply Company.
