Sierra's TLD dosimeter (x-ray badge)

Sierra Dosimetry uses the advanced NVLAP Accredited Panasonic UD-802A Thermo Luminescent Dosimeter (TLD) personnel monitoring badge for the highest precision in determination of occupational radiation dose for your employees.

Sierras TLD dosimeter (x-ray badge) is designed for monitoring radiation exposure from X-Ray, Gamma, Beta and Neutrons of known energy. Our TLD badge measures radiation dose at three tissue depths which correspond to the deep, shallow, and lens of the eye doses required by 10 CFR 20. It is an excellent dosimeter for nearly all medical and industrial radiation environments.

Sierra Radiation Dosimetry Service's TLD radiation dosimeter is available for Monthly, Bi-Monthly, or Quarterly wear periods for routine personnel, area and environmental radiation monitoring.

Sierras TLD badge labels show the appropriate TLD wear-position on the body and are color coded to differentiate between monitoring wear periods and to identify wear locations.

The entire dosimetry badge is returned for processing at the end of the wear period. A NVLAP accredited report listing all returned x-ray badges, and corresponding occupational radiation dose received, will normally arrive in two weeks.
