The portable rope testers weigh is only 1.8 KG, about 1/6~1/25 of the weight of conventional NDT testers. The sensitivity of sensors could reach 5 V/G, and about 70000-250000 times higher than conventional sensors. The gap between sensor and wire rope is about 20-30mm which achieves non-contact inspection, it does not affected by grease, normal warped wire, and rope-running speed which shown that passing-through capacity is good.
