Specifications and Product Details:

The photoelectric spectrometer coupled with a high performance potentiostat enables a series of quality photoelectrochemical measurements. It can be used for full characterisation of solar cells, photodetectors, photocatalytic materials and in fundamental photoelectrochemical processes. The basic role of the spectrometer is to supply UV, VIS or IR radiation to a measured sample at a specific wavelength and duration.

Applications

The system provides CW and pulsed monochromatic illumination with high power densities, which can be used for:

Design

Our photoelectric spectrometer consists of three major modules:

Usually, we custom design the system parameters for specific customer requirements. Those are determined by both scientific goals and the equipment customer already has and that needs to be incorporated into the spectrometer. The experiment controller has 16 programmable TTL I/O ports that can be used to communicate
with potentiostats, gas/liquid electromagnetic valves, magnetic stirrers, rotating disc electrodes, light choppers, other light sources, etc.
Here we outline only most common parameters of the modules.

Light Source
Type: Xenon illuminator
Electric power: 150 W
Continuous spectrum range: 200 nm – 1200 nm
Useful spectrum range: 180 nm – 2400 nm
Igniter: Incorporated into lamp housing (low EMI emission)
Power supply input: 90–274 V AC, 50–60 Hz, User selectable
Current adjustment range: 3-8 A
After warm-up stability of power supply: 0.2%
Reflector: Very efficient elliptical reflector that surrounds the light source and captures about 70% of total intensity.

Monochromator
Input: with electromechanical shutter, microregulated slit
Output: microregulated slit, with quartz lens and filter wheel
Gratings: manually switched dual grating system
Grating positioning: step motor
Gratings size: 50x50 mm
