GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Model Multichannel Gas Monitor System is a continuous monitoring system designed to give reliable detection of gas at different location in Safe Area and to give indication and warning of dangerous, toxic gas concentration. The remote detector/transmitter sense gas at particular points where gas concentration is suspected and transmits 4-20 mA dc signals to the monitor. Modern integrated circuits and plug-in modules provide all needed indication for alarms and fail safe functions with simplicity of installation and operation. The system is designed and manufactured to ensure high reliability but should a failure occur in the detection elements or their associated wiring, a fault detection system is provided within the module. The indicator is designed for installation at safe area.
In Model CL each detection channel consists of a remote detector wired back to a corresponding plug-in analyzer module. Terminals for external alarm signals are provided for each analyzer module and for all modules in common.
