1. Summary:
LK-3000 personal alarm dosimeter is a kind of lapel monitoring instrument,
mainly used to survey X-ray and Y-ray, it has high sensitivity ,the instrument
also has response to have environmental background radiation.

The frequency of sounding and flashing shows radiation field intensity, if more
than radiation level, the instrument will send out continuous sounding and
flashing, when the counting tube of the instrument blocked, the instrument still
emits continuous sound-light alarm. This instrument is of loe consumption, many
functions, small size and portable, it will widely used in industrial NDT,
nuclear power station ,nuclear submarine, isotope application, cobalt therapy in
hospital and so on.

2. The main technical charactreristic
Detectors: using the G-MJ705, βY type halogen counter tube.
Radiation field and measuring range: applicable Y radiation field, the biggest
allows measuring rate 5R/h.
Energy response: 30Kev-60Co, -40% - +80%.
Noise and alarm: every sound dose equivalent to 2μR, every second dose equivalent to 5mR/h,
When the radiation field dose rate is more than 10mR/h, instrument will continuous
sound-light alarm.
Power supply: two 7# battery, power dissipation<1mw

3. Use and maintenance
When the instrument measuring ,keep the switch left in open position, when
not working , shall promptly shutdown for saving electric energy.

4. Instrument self-inspection
In this bottom conditions, sound once is about 8-30minutes, instrument
for normal work, or the battery needs to be replaced or hace something faults.
