ThermaTwin General Description
ThermaTwin Overview
ThermaTwin is the ideal multi-purpose tool for temperature measurements. It contains two reliable sensors:
This dual function tool fulfills most temperature measurement requirements. The non-contact IR sensor can be used for instantaneous, hard-to-reach, and surface-oriented measurements. The thermocoupler functions as the dual of the former: accurately measuring subsurface temperatures.
More Sensors at Lower Cost
ThermaTwin implements an innovative technology, placing integrating two sensors seamlessly into one package. They share the same preamplifier, precision analog to digital converter (ADC), CPU, and LCD. Thus, making the cost of the thermometer the same as if there were only one sensor.
One can discover the emissivity of an object with the ThermaTwin. Simple use the ThermaTwin's metal rod to touch that object to get the (contact) temperature, then use the non-contact sensor to obtain that surface temperature. Later, adjust the emissivity until the thermometer displays the same temperature. Now you know the correct emissivity of the object.
ThermaTwin offers several different kinds of probes:
The ThermaTwin is designed for many types of applications:
