INTRODUCTION
MODEL is a battery-operated microprocessor based portable gas analyzer. It has been especially designed for analyzing the processes gas methane . It gives the concentration as of CH4in %V/V.
Being a state-of-art microcontroller based instrument, MODE has in-built intelligence that makes it very easy to use and operate. It provides for in-field automatic calibration. Calibration of instrument Zero is achieved with fresh air and the need for use of gases for the same is eliminated. It also provides an interactive user machine interface which includes user prompts.
MODELis also has in-built battery condition monitoring function, which gives advance warning of the impending battery-run down condition. It also includes provision for interfacing with a battery charger
