The HMS-1 alloy steel S type load cell is available in a wide range of capacities, from 5kg to 20 ton. This load cell can be used in tension or compression. The HMS-1 load cell can be used in many applications, crane scales, animal weighing scales, tank and silo weighing scales, railway scales, check weighing and food industry scales.
The HMS-1 S type load cell is also available in stainless steel and with IP68 class environmental protection.The stainless steel load cell model HMS-1 belongs to the S type group of load cells. Transducers of this type are symmetrical and have threaded holes top and bottom to introduce the load which can either be in tension or compression.
The HMS-1 is constructed from stainless steel and is hermetically sealed to IP68. This makes it particularly suitable for application in the food industry where there are aggressive cleaning agents or in hostile outdoor applications.Because of their good dynamic performance and their symmetrical design, S-shaped load cells also very often used as a force transducer.Typical applications include force measurements, material testing and the monitoring of cable tension in lift and cranes to prevent overload.
