TLT : Trumen Capacitance Level Transmitter

Applications:
Lube oil, edible oil, fuel oil, cooling oil, hydraulic oil, diesel, water, acids,
chemicals, slurries, non-sticky free flow powders like silica etc.

Principle :
Trumen Liquid Level Transmitter is specially made for continuous liquid level measurement in vessels
and containers. Its main application is non-conductive fluids. For conductive fluids full-PTFE insulated
probe is required. For abrasive fluids, tolerant coatings are provided.

The capacitance is formed by the sense rod and earth extension. When no material is present,
the capacitance is analogically a multiple of probe dimension and dielectric constant of air.
When material is present, the capacitance gets multiplied by dielectric constant of the material.
The electronics continuously monitors change in variation in capacitance due to level change which
is then translated into 4-20 mA output by the device.
