1).The tester works with a 9V battery,press button ON/OFF for 3 seconds to power on.

2).The tester will automatically shut off if stop operating for 15 minutes

3). it prompts a “low battery” and can’t work normally if a battery power is low

4).The tester is for Utp 5E/6E cable(RJ45), telephone line(RJ11),USB line and coaxial cable

(BNC)

5).The tester support to test when RJ45 working voltage is 5V, RJ11 working voltage is 45V.

High voltage in cable will damage the tester.

Basic test method

1.M-S method: A local method to map and measure the length of cable only for RJ45 cable

2.M-R method: A remote method to map and measure the length of cable for RJ45,RJ11,USB,

BNC cable.

3.Open method: a remote method to measure the length of RJ45 cable.

Main functions:

1. to check various circuit status in cable, wth M-S, M-R methods to check error such as open,

short circuit, jumper, reverse, crossover,matching connections and cable break point ,the

result visually displays on the LCD.

2.to check the crosstalk error in end port of twisted-pair cable which is the cause of slow

network speed.

3.to judge the open point in crystal port of cable,can help to accurately detect the exact open

point in the cable end (left, right or middle).

4.to check the connection status of cable and judge the break point in cable.

5.to measure the length of various cable, With M-S, M-R, OPEN methods to measure the cable

length up to 1,200 meters,the accuracy of the measurement of length and location of cable

break point is up to 98%.
