Specifications and Product Details:

GA-2003 Laser Particle Size Analyzer

GA-2003 is a high-end LPSA newly developed with size range 0.04-1000 micrometer. It is characterized by automatic focusing, automatic alignment on light path, automatic adding and draining water, timer-controlled ultrasonic and adjustable flow rate etc. In addition the program becomes more flexible and functional.GA-2003 is an LPSA with more automation, easier operation in higher performance. It use import semiconductor as laser to realize larger power, longer lifetime and better chromaticity; large-sized photodetector array was specially designed and produced by advanced technique of large-scale integrated circuit and works with high sensitivity. Twelve backward detectors extends the minimum size range to minimum size range to as low as 40 nanometer; it uses centrifugal circulating and dispersing pump when adding sample; it is based on full-course Mie theory and can process data by many distribution patterns; adopt of innovative technology and manufacturing techniques like high-precision data transforming and processing circuit make it run fast with reliable accuracy, good repeatability, and easy operation, a new generation of LPSA incorporating technologies of laser, computer and photolight. Best solution for labs in colleges and universities, research institutes and large-scale enterprise.

Application

  1. Non-metallic powders such as calcium carbonate, talcum powder, kaolin, zirconium silicate, wollastonite, graphite, silica powder, tourmaline, mica, barite, plaster, bentonite, diamond, quartz, diatomite, feldspar, calamite, clay, garnet, vermiculite, Titanium white power, etc.
  2. Metallic powder such as aluminum powder, iron powder, magnesium powder, molybdenum powder, copper powder, zinc powder, other rare metal power and varied alloy powder, etc.
  3. Pharmaceutical, agricultural pesticide, grinding particle, foodstuff, scientific research, teaching, cement, ceramic, glass, chemical industry, military industry, soil, pigment, oil exploration, geological analysis, river silt and electronic particle, etc.

Features

  1. Extend minimum size to nanometer range. Innovative photodetector array is made up by 86 photodetectors with 68 forward, 9 side and 9 backward. The largest detecting angle reaches 168 degree. Escalator-shaped back photodetector array in range of 105-168 degree is made up by 9 photodetectors with the same linearity and sensitivity in order to extend the minimum size to 40 nanometer.
  2. Extend maximum size to millimeter range. We use Furrier lens with large aperture and long focal distance. Minimize the distortion and spherical aberration to extend the maximum size range to 600 micrometer.
  3. Automatic 3D aligning module incorporates import stepping motor, precise guide and screw, monochip microprocessor control module, program system, and data recognizing system to realize precise location (1.3 micrometer).
  4. Automatic circulating and dispersing system integrates centrifugal pump in 600-2500rpm,ultrasonic disperser switching among 15W,30W and 50W,water adding and draining system, liquid level sensor and computer automatic control system. Through computer the operator can control water adding, draining, cleaning, dispersing, circulating, timing and rolling speed to realize automatic and intelligent particle sizing.
  5. Program is the soul of an intelligent LPSA, we develop it in VC++6.0 and it can be installed into common computer and linked by RS232 or USB to realize data acquisition, processing, results output and system control. In addition user can save, query, compare, edit, delete results and resort to help topics.
  6. Thanks to advanced forming technique, we can offer compact, elegant instrument and easy maintenance instead; latest anti-interruption technique stabilizes the electric properties of the instrument and therefore minimize the fault rate.

Powerful Operating Program

  1. Multilanguage: Chinese Simple, Chinese Traditional, English.
  2. Other language friendly: User can translate our program to any language he speaks like Korean.
  3. One-for-all program: Model selection panel is compatible with old models in order to upgrade for old version.

Principle:

Laser particle size analyzer determines the size distribution of particles on basis of diffraction generated by particles lightened by laser. When illuminated by laser, some particles will generate diffraction; there will be an angle θ between direct beam and the scattered beam. Both diffraction theory and experiments tell us, θ involves size of particles and the bigger the particle is the smaller the generated θ, the smaller the particle is the bigger the generated θ. Further research shows intensity of scattered laser can be indicator of quantity of particles in such size, therefore by measuring the intensity of the scattered laser on more than one angles the size distribution of the sample is obtained.
