Summary
During liquid level measurement, when the medium’s temperature is lower than 0 C, it can make vessel’s surface frost so that frost layer covers vessel’s surface including the Gauge’s glass plate. Therefore, it is not possible to use a common liquid level Gauge to measure such low temperature medium. The frost-proof glass plate liquid level Gauge is designed specially for low temperature medium level measurement. The medium’s level can be viewed clearly through frost-proof fin.
Structure principle
According to temperature gradient principle, when there is one kind of temperature delivering material to connect low temperature source, more farther away is the material from the low temperature source, more closer is the temperature to the ambient temperature, which can resolve the level reading problem. This kind of Gauge is designed just on base of this principle. The low temperature medium level can be read out on the frost-proof fin.
