1. Introduction
MTF is a newly developed Battery-powered electromagnetic water meter converter. This series of converter can be assembled with common electromagnetic flowmeter sensor and reaches 0.5 and 0.2 degree measuring accuracy. That is to say, simply replacing MTF converter to primary common electromagnetic flowmeter, users can develop a new product-electromagnetic water meter series.
MTF electromagnetic water meter converter is configurated with a routine lithium battery, which can work continually for 3--6 years. If configurated with high power capacity battery, it will work longer.
MTF electromagnetic water meter converter employs base station type wireless communication system by setting a communication base on communication center that covers a radius of 1000m.
The electromagnetic water meter communicates with base station within close range (SRD model) and employs 928MHZ open frequency channel (American standard). The base station finishes data communication with managing computer by GPRS or CDMA mobile communication net. In addition, the MTF electromagnetic water meter converter can finish data communication with managing computer by GPRS or CDMA mobile communication net directly. MTF electromagnetic flowmeter converter employs ABS plastic electroplated meter shell, IP68 sealing protection design, which can be used in underground.
