FTR-01 power system fault recorder’s outstanding performance allows it to be used in monitoring power lines, generators and transformers.

Using fiber, the front end RAU (Remote Acquisition Unit) connects to the central control unit. This new structure insulates the EMC disturbance perfectly. Device can withstand (IEC225-22-4)IV,4kV fast transient disturbance. Additionally, the RAU could be installed as far as 1000 meters from the central control unit for use when signal can not be connected to control centers.

With up to 96A/192D input channels, FTR-01 has enough channels to construct large monitoring systems. Powerful DSP digital signal processors calculate the data from the RAU and provide the vector, harmonic, phase angle, root of mean squire and power etc. for the control unit to make decisions. Adapting the principle of relay protection, FTR-01 not only monitors power lines, but also measures the generators and transformers simultaneously.

Auto Frequency Track insures accuracy in FFT analysis. Real time monitoring allows for easy construction of Remote Mimicking Boards. Slow scan recording allows for up to 10 days of data retrieve availability for research on the operation of the power system.

Through open interface of software and special format of parameter setup, user can design various monitoring and testing function.

FTR: (Fault of Transient Record):

1. Pre fault time: 100ms-500ms selectable.

2. Post fault time: 400ms-5000ms selectable

If a new trig occurs during post fault time, another post fault time will be expended and so on.

3. Record limit time: 400ms-1000ms selectable

CSS: (Continually Steady State):

Continually Steady State records the calculated value of channel signal. This record does not need any trigger and continual records the data at 50 Hz sample rate. Ten days data is stored before the old data is overlaid with new data. All calculated values can be recorded as CCS.

TSS: (Trigged Steady State):

Each Transient record could initial a TSS record. Before and after trig time 30-600 seconds, any duration could be set to create a TSS record.

Just half channels can be selected to be recorded CSS or TSS.

Dual Host(Optional):

Two hosts record signal from same RAU to increase the reliability. The probability is very low while two hosts are damaged simultaneously. When a host is being maintained, the other one would be on duty.
