The main technical parameters:

1. Measuring

(1) Fundamental system of thermal expansion tester: vertical, horizontal two types for choice, with integration of integrated measuring amplifier and inductance displacement sensor measuring alloy head, vacuum sealed structure, constant temperature water-bath protection sensing base, measuring head location can be adjusted. High-precision adjusting contact pressure. Measurement range: 5000µm; resolution: 0.1µm; the contact presssure measurement of head: 15 ~ 45cN; length adjustable length range of sample: 25mm ~ 50mm; sample size and temperature range depends on sample’s frame,furnace and the protection furnace tube; diameter 5 ~ 10mm;

(2) Temperature range(oC): -196 --- 200 , -40---600 , room temperature --- 1000oC , room temperature --- 1600, room temperature --- 1700 , or room temperature -- -2000oC to be chosen;

(3) Furnace power supply 2.0kVA, with enclosures;

(4) The length of stent devices sample 0 ... 50mm, the largest sample diameter: 10mm including casing, putt and sample thermocouple; (K, E, R, S, B, W-Re, etc.);

(5) Constant temperature circulating water bath with cooling function, cooling power 260W (at 20 ) (heating power :2000W), temperature stability ± 0.01K, multi-function display with 10-meter pipe and connection components, power supply :230V/50/50Hz.

2. Control, measurement and data collection:

Thermal Analysis System controller is made up of data acquisition and temperature control, which includes the following functional blocks: Dual analog input, resolution + / - 2.000.000; input is isolated by photoelectry; range switch preamplifier; do temperature programming for different types of temperature sensors; line heating / cooling rate is adjustable from 0.01 to 999.99K/min; thermostat time is changeable from 0-99 hours 59 minutes ; analog PID temperature controller with STC function; temperature compensation, thermocouples and disconnect protection; display temperature and all thefuntions through the external computer the software; connected computer PCI or USB2.0.

3. Software system:

(1) In MS WINDOWS XP, 32-bit environment, the thermal analysis software package is for data acquisition, storage and analysis. Features: a graphical user interface, integrated detailed help system;

(2) Can be connected to the PCI board of USB, with 2 m cable.

4. Standard sample and vacuum device:

(1) Fused silica standard sample, d6 × 25mm, with expansion coefficient table;

(2) Vacuum system, two-blade rotor pump (4.2m3/ h), ventilation valve, stop valve, mechanical pressure gauge and oil mist separator.
