CTW150 System is the device to check wear characteristics of Cam and Tappet in vehicle engine.
This system is designed to implement rotation and friction condition which is same as vehicle driving condition by installing the Cam and Tappet that are used actual vehicles.
This system is designed to test tappets by installing rod type or newly applied roller type tappets. It is able to simulate various types of cam & tappet wear status by replace them according to their size and shape.
This device is designed to lubricate each part of cam and tappet smoothly as in actual vehicle engine, and it is designed to make forced lubrication to each part when required.
It is able to monitor friction force, friction coefficient, vibration, temperature change, etc. during test through each sensor. It is also able to stop test at specified mode by setup measurement limit values to perform purpose oriented test.
For rod type, cam contacts with tappet rotation inside the vehicle. It is designed to move center of contact according to the size of cam and tappet to implement same condition.
Contact angle between cam and tappet should be always same when they contact, and level meter is installed to maintain same condition during change and installation of specimen for test accuracy.
