C.I. Angle Plate - CAP

Angle Plates are also used as a vertical reference for inspection. They make an ideal fixture for shaping, planning, milling, grinding, drilling and boring operations.

SALIENT FEATURES:

Made generally as per IS: 2554 – 1971, JASH Standard Angle Plates are webbed and provided with cored slots on both working faces to facilitate clamping.

• Made from close-grained plain cast iron having hardness within 180 to 200 HB.

• Castings stress relieved to relieve internal stresses.

• Smaller sizes offered with Grades 1 & 2 accuracies and larger sizes offered in Grade 2 accuracies, as stated in table.

• Hand scraped surface finish for Grade-1. Smooth machined / rough ground / rough scraped Surface finish for Grade 2 accuracy.

• Precision Angle Plates in standard sizes and with accuracies as per IS: 6973 – 1973 but made from the same patterns as those for the standard sizes as per IS: 2554 – 1971 are made upon request. Sizes offered are maximum upto 600 x 400 x 450 mm.

• Vertical face is provided with horizontal machined T-Slots and the base / table face is having cored slots. Other constructional features are similar to those in case of standard angle plates as per IS: 2554 – 1971.

• T-slot dimensions conform to IS: 2013. T-Slots are fixing T-Slots with tolerance H12 and are machined parallel to base and to each other within 0.1 mm per meter.

• Square ness tolerances are as shown in table. Other tolerances are generally as per IS: 2554 – 1971. Higher tolerances for square ness as well as for T-slots can be ensured upon request.

• Sizes, respective T-slot details and square ness tolerances are as stated in table. Custom sizes can be offered upon request.
