Combining high speed, state-of-the-art testing capabilities with a revolutionary new active matrix

colour display, the multi-channel, multi-frequency MIZ-27ET makes inspections faster and easier

than ever to perform. With the MIZ-27ET’s flexible configurations and options, you can easily tailor

its power and capabilities to meet your specific budget and application requirements.

It features one to eight channel configurations from four coil sets (one analogue board), or 16channel

configuration with eight coil sets (two analogue boards). It offers a frequency range of 100

Hz to 1 MHz, and high digital sample rates enabling test speeds of up to 260 inches per second or

seven meters per second.


The powerful MIZ 27-ET features one to eight channel configuration from four coil sets (one analogue board), or 16 channel configuration with eight coil sets (two analogue boards). It offers a frequency range of 50Hz to 10 MHz, and high digital sample rates enabling test speeds of up to 333 inches per second or seven meters per second. The MIZ 27-ET’s active matrix colour display lets you present test information from almost every angle and view any channel in one to four display colours for quick, at-a-glance channel identification.In addition, a digital flying dot constantly indicates the position of the data point for each XY display. The flying dot displays the data in a storage oscilloscope fashion. The MIZ-27 ET presents the phase and amplitude vectors of the phase and amplitude vectors of the eddy current signal as a two-dimensional Lissajous figure and tow strip charts simultaneously, so you can monitor multiple data channels more efficiently. You can also select from XY, Sweep, Waterfall, C-scan, Vector, Bar Graph, and Video displays. A menu-driven user interface combined with the HulaPoint (front panel pointing device) or PS2 standard PC keyboard, keeps operation simple and intuitive.To help maximise the accuracy of your inspections, the MIZ®27ET offers built-in signal measurement and reporting featured based on two phase or amplitude 3-point calibrations curve types. The report to file feature provides a permanent record of the analysis results. The Miz-®27SI also includes up to 16 alarm channels, which can be set to alarm either inside or outside the gated area. Using the HulaPoint, you can easily optimise the shaped alarm areas presented on the display.While recording data to an external SCSI device, an operator can use the MIZ®27 ET's file marker button to flag an entry. This feature marks the data’s file name with an asterisk in the directory listing. This method provides quick identification of files that need post analysis or further review.
