Beam Displacer
Base on the birefringence performance of YVO4, a Beam Displacer can divides a beam into o-ray and e-ray. When a natural beam transmits a birefringent crystal, the beam divides into two rays. One ray transmits crystal straight, named ordinary ray (O-ray); the other one transmits crystal but change its direction, named extraordinary ray (E-ray). The angle between O-ray and e-ray is called Walk Off angle a, it given by:

Θ is the angle between light beam and optical axis.
