BIN-07 Sealed digital data interface console with build-in battery (for spectral and single parameter measurements) - #IFGIC03

The BIN-07 digital data interface console is designed for use with all IFG Corporation digital borehole probes. The console is sealed from moisture and dust for underground mining applications. This module supplies the power to the probe and accepts the binary data from the sensor, in either current loop or frequency domain (selectable). The console automatically determines the baud rate when connected to any of the IFG digital borehole sensors.
Additionally it accepts the digital pulses from the optical depth encoder. The combined data record is then sent to the serial port of a microcomputer for the display and the recording of the data. The data can also be recorded in its internal nonvolatile memory. The memory size is 4M bytes, enabling recordings up to 30 hours. The interface console has a build in battery that provides the power to the borehole sensor and the console. A fully charged battery has the capacity of supplying power to the system for up to 8 hours.
The BIN-07 console has an optional constant current (5mA) generator. This generator is for the galvanic resistivity measurement. The resistivity measurement can be done with a variety of IFG probes. First to consider is the multi array resistivity probe, model BRS-01, BRS-02 or BRS-03. The resistivity measurement can also be performed with the multi-parameter probes BMP-04 and the BMP-06.
