INTRODUCTION

The Model Ammonia is a personal Ammonia DETECTOR / MONITOR is designed to detect presence of Ammonia & indicate Ammonia gas concentration at any time. It can be used intermittently or continuously and will sound an alarm at two preset levels, typically 5 PPM and 10 PPM. Visible LED indication is also provided for alarm condition.

DESCRIPTION

The Ammonia is a miniature Ammonia indicator and alarm small enough to be worn in a shirt pocket. It uses a diffusion-type sensor and has a liquid crystal digital (LCD) display to show Ammonia concentration directly in PPM. The instrument features the following audible and visual alarms.

a. Rising Gas: When concentration reaches 5 PPM a pulsing alarm will sound.

b. High alarm: When concentration reaches 10 PPM,

a continuous steady tone will sound.

c. Low Bat alarm: When battery capacity is exhausted,

a“ BATT” indication will come on bottom left hand

corner of LCD.
