The CNR3000 level gauge, designed and manufactured by Cabeco S.A., is a highly-reliable, robust precision instrument ready to be installed outdoors. It has been designed to facilitate level measurement operations in tanks with fuel or any other liquid which can be measured by means of a float.

The device consists of a DIN-A head made of aluminum and a stainless steel sheath of 16mm diameter, with two SPANSIL® floats, a material which is highly resistant to chemicals.

A number of resistors and reed bulbs are mounted on the sheath. When closed as the magnet placed on the float passes, they generate a potentiometric effect along its entire length.

The lower float acts on a reed bulb, to indicate the presence of water in the bottom of the tank.

It is attached to the tank by means of a 2" GAS thread.

The terminals needed to connect the device to a measuring instrument are placed in the head. For facilities with explosive atmospheres, the gauge must be connected via certified galvanic isolators or the instrument must be intrinsically safe.
